Hi there! My name is Kylei, and I have been working with children for the past six years in different youth spaces. I have worked as a Special Education assistant teacher (working with EMD, DBD, and ASD youth), Directed a few middle school plays, taught different after-school classes, and ran a youth after-school program at an elementary school and a Black youth healing art center. I love working with kids and creating a safe space for them to grow and have fun. I have been known for regulating tools and listening to solve problems. I am very creative and have been exposed to many art modalities I love sharing with youth, like messy crafts, crochet, drawing, writing, and music. I am the oldest of 10, and working with kids and taking care of kids, I am most experienced as it is my lived experience, and I love every moment of it, including the growing pains.
