About Kyla

Hello! My name is Kyla, I am a current college and UNC. I am student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Early Childhood Education, and I plan to pursue a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. As a caregiver with five years of experience, I'm passionate about positively influencing children's lives and supporting families. My patient, enthusiastic, and approachable personality enables me to connect with children and create a nurturing environment. I understand the importance in clear communication with families and enjoy engaging children with a variety of activities, from outdoor sports and educational games to interactive technology-based games and apps that support their learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, ages 0 to 11, and have had experience with all ages in this range. Apart from childcare, I'm willing to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, etc.
