I have 10 + years of experience caring for infants and children of all ages. I am skilled in nonviolent communication and mediation. I have trained and worked part time as a birth and postpartum doula, specializing in wellness for mothers, children's, and families. I enjoy spending time with children outdoors, reading books, singing songs and doing art with them, teaching them cooking skills, and overall supporting their creative imagination in a safe and fun way. I also enjoy organizing, cleaning, and meal prepping/cooking for families. My approach to conflict is gentle and empathetic. Kula is an amazing caregiver. She is attentive, thoughtful, and intuitive. Kula comes with an open heart, and has a natural gift at connecting with and nurturing children. She is on time and dependable. Kula is also a great communicator; She has supported me motherhood while coming up with collaborative strategies to support my daughter. My daughter felt calm with Kula and she also engaged her socially and emotionally. Kula is a natural nurturer and a great additional support for any mother, child, and family.
