I've been a nanny for the past 13yrs, it's what I do full time and I absolutely love it. I have longevity in all past positions. I have experienced it all and function well under pressure. I am very calm, patient, reliable and trustworthy. I am definitely an outdoor/outings nanny. I don't like being home often but understand it's part of the job. I love using community resources to learn and explore. I believe in socialization and building friendships for my littles. My parenting style is very child directed and I believe in children having autonomy. I'm a big believer in expressing/feeling your feelings. I believe all my past nanny kids would best describe me as fun yet firm. My goal is to have happy healthy kids while creating fun memories where the kids look back and think, "I had a good childhood". When it comes to what nannying I think of us as coparents, and I hope to find a family with mutual respect & support. It takes a village.

Kristy is such a sweet babysitter. Our 2 year old son had never had a babysitter before and I was nervous that he would be nervous but Kristy made him feel so comfortable. We were able to spend some time with her before she baby sat so she wasn't a stranger to our son. She was incredible. She showed up a bit early to give him some time with her while we were still at home and it worked perfectly because he wanted to show her all of his toys and was deeply involved playing with her when we left. She asks detailed questions so she knows exactly what your parenting style is and what is expected of her. I also love that she sent me a picture while we were out of them having a blast outside which made my mama heart feel so much more comfortable. I highly recommend Kristy and we will be calling her again in the future.
