I am currently a full-time teacher in the Harrison Public School district and have been teaching for over 10 years. I also revise curriculum for my district and am the lead Kindergarten teacher for my grade-level. I have attained my MAT degree in Early Childhood Education and am trained in Orton Gillingham by the Dyslexia Training Institute in Orton Gillingham multi-sensory reading instruction. I have been tutoring students for over 5 years ranging from grades Pre-k-3rd. I have a background working with special needs populations including ADHD, autism, and learning disabled and dyslexic students. I am available for live and online lessons as well as educational evaluations! All materials will be provided and created based solely on your child's needs.

Kristy has done a wonderful job tutoring my son. He fell behind during the pandemic and wasn't able to catch up with just the virtual learning model. Since tutoring with Kristy, his growth has been tremendous. His spelling, forming sentences and reading have greatly improved. He is much more confident now. She is also very easy to work with. She is great with him. She is also always tweaking how they work together based on how he works best. We highly recommend Kristy!
