About Kristin

Tutoring has never crossed my mind until my junior year of highschool . I took a class for a year on child development which allowed me to gain experience with working with younger age children and prepping them before they entered kindergarten. I have been given the opportunity to work in a school many times but never thought that I was capable to do the tasks that were required to teach young kids . During the pandemic I was given the opportunity to work with an amazing family to tutor their 4-year-old son , one on one . Including math , science , art , English and history , I was able to get him ahead academically within 6 months . He's now able to read beginner books by himself , Do first grade math on his own and comprehend the directions that are given to him within any subject . I not only pushed him learning wise , but now he's confident in anything he puts his mind to .
