I practiced as an RN from 1993 until June 2013. I have a current CPR certification and desire a part time position caring for children in their home. In the recent past I have cared for two boys (a toddler and a 2-month-old) for two years, until they moved to Pennsylvania. For the last 14 months I have been caring for a baby girl, who is now 16 months old. She will be transitioning to Hilltop at KU with her three yrear old sister in the next month, as both parents are KU professors. I have cared for children of all ages and enjoy crafts, games, reading and playing games, as well as outdoor activities. My most recent nanny position has ended and the sweet girl has joined her sister and parents at KU. I am active and enjoy indoor and outdoor play, as well as age appropriate crafts. Kris was an amazing nanny for more than a year until our youngest daughter was able to start daycare. She was prompt and reliable, communicated any schedule changes in advance, and was flexible when we needed it, taking care of our toddler as well on a few occasions when her daycare was closed. Kris has had so much love to give to Elanor and our whole family. Elanor absolutely adored her, and we could always rely on Kris to soothe her through a fussy day. Her patience and dedication helped Elanor work through delays in gross motor skills, and just generally gave us peace of mind to be able to rely on her during a busy period in our lives!
