About Kristin

Greetings! I have been a child caregiver and working with children, in a variety of capacities, for about 20 years; all age groups from infancy to 18 years old. This established my passion and dedication to the education field. I've been a preschool and pre-k teacher for the past 15 years and absolutely love it! My interests include any outdoor activity; walks/hikes, museums, movies, Gardens, board games, reading, arts and crafts (getting messy is fun, it helps develop fine motor skills and it allows the kids to get that creative side moving.) I've done a lot of research and it seems that "learning through play" is the most effective way for children to be engaged; it helps build self-confidence, expands their imagination, allows for more open communication towards his/her peers and is truly fun! I love getting on a child's level to play, learn and engage in activities. Making a difference in children's lives is my lifelong goal and is very important to me. Live to inspire!! :)
