I've taken care of my blind grandmother for a long time. I've helped her with laundry/dressing, food shopping/prep, housekeeping, managing her medications, transportation to doctor appointments, mobility assistance, and companionship. Also, I have taken care of an older women with MS (Multiple sclerosis) for about 4 years. I've helped her with basic care. Caring for my grandma inspired me to become a caregiver. I'm passionate about helping people and improving the daily lives of those in need of care. Supporting my grandma taught me skills like patience, compassion and problem-solving. I learned how to address issues quickly and effectively. While the work was challenging, improving her quality of life made it worthwhile!
