Hi, I'm Kristin. I have been caring for children, newborn through teenagers, since I was 14 and continued through college, graduate school and beyond. My experience ranges from date nights and weekly care to week long live-in care when parents travel. In addition to extensive babysitting/nanny experience, I have a Masters and Doctoral degree in Marital and Family Therapy, which have given me opportunities to work with youth and families in school, community and home settings to empower families to achieve positive relationship dynamics. I left my job in the Behavioral Health field three years ago to spend more time with my husband and our growing family. Now that my youngest of four children is starting school, I am looking to return to my personal and professional work. I am available for regular care and occasional/date nights. Kristin took care of our two sons (ages 4 and 1), while we were visiting San Diego for a wedding. We don’t typically use one-time babysitters and weren’t sure how our boys would react, but they immediately fell in love with Kristin! She has such a kind, caring, calm presence that made all of us feel incredibly comfortable from the moment we met her. Not only did she take amazing care of our children, but she also took fantastic care of our home! She did some light cleaning while our boys were asleep and left the house better than she found it. She was incredibly trustworthy, communicative, and professional—I just wished she lived closer so she could take care of our boys all the time! Thank you, Kristin!
