About Kristina

Hey there! I'm Kristina. I have an associate's in occupational therapy, and hold a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA) license. I worked as a teacher's assistant in NJ for the 2014 and 2016 school years. Most of my students had a diagnosis of ASD, and working with them sparked my interest in occupational therapy. I love that there are so many ways (and activities!) to promote developmental skills. That's my favorite thing to do when it comes to childcare. Crafts, sensory exploration, fine motor skills, age appropriate life skills, handwriting. After graduating with my AAS, my partner and I traveled for a couple years before settling down in the Portland area- just before Covid hit. I've taken a couple jobs in healthcare since and realized skilled nursing is not for me and I'd rather get involved in pediatrics again! :)
