I would say my top 3 childcare skills are being patient with little ones, understanding their individual quirks and feelings, and being creative with play, crafts, and problem-solving. I want families to know I'll work hard to meet their expectations, whether it's about schedules, discipline styles, or learning needs. In my spare time, I love being crafty and creative, painting, doing my nails, or organizing, and I enjoy being outside, no matter the season. I'm a full-time student at Grand Valley State University, usually in class during the fall and winter, or spending time with family. I've had many babysitting gigs and worked at an early childhood learning center as an assistant teacher, handling kids aged 6 months to 5 years. I'm looking for a job with regular babysitting or nannying hours but am open to occasional gigs. I love working with kids and find it fulfilling because I believe ones childhood shapes ones future. I'd describe myself as open-minded, friendly, and trustworthy.
