I'd describe my personality as positive, engaging, compassionate. I like tutoring because it gives me the chance to tune into the exact needs of the learner. It's rewarding to see growth and "light bulb moments." I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my educational skills with a schedule that works best for my busy family. I started tutoring when I began my teaching career over 25 years ago. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family at our cabin, hike, and garden. One thing you should know about me is that I am committed to bringing out the best in the children I work with. My skills include creativity, flexibility with approaches, experience with children who have IEP and 504 plans.
