Kristie was a live-in caregiver for my father over 2 years until his passing. She cared for my father in all phases of aging with his dementia and physical abilities ranging from full mobility, to being in a wheelchair, and eventually being bedridden. Throughout the process, she knew exactly how to handle him with tenderness, strength and a positive attitude. Daily routines included feeding, bathing, talking to him, and monitoring his health which were very important to us and Kristie kept my sister and I aware of how he was doing at all times. My father grew to love her as much as my family and I did. My mother was in the house during this time and very concerned about my father (married for over 60 years) and Kristie provided comfort and support to her while taking care of him at the same time. When it came time for my mother, who needed assistance and couldn't be home alone, we didn't give it a second thought and hired Kristie to be her live-in caregiver as well. My mother was not the easiest person to satisfy and, somehow, Kristie handled her with skill and grace. I strongly believe, if it wasn't for Kristie's outlook on life, positivity, and personality, the scenario might not have worked. Kristie was a Godsend to our family and I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a caregiver. She clearly loves her job and it shows every day in how she treats her clients and family members.
