While most teenage girls babysat for income, I pet sat and walked dogs which was the ideal job. Upon moving to Pennsylvania, employment was scarce and my children were looking for a way to earn money. Taking into consideration our love for animals (we had 6 at the time), we came up with the idea of running a part-time pet care business that we successfully operated for over three years. We still maintain our love for pets and still occasionally pet sit for former clients as well as friends and family. With everyone going to school and working full time, there was little time to continue running the pet care business. We believe that pets are an extension of a family and require lots of love and attention. Although the income was important, we valued the care we provided much more. We have had the wonderful opportunity of being there for our clients and their extended family members. At this time in my life, I am seeking a part-time position that would fulfill both our need for income and my love of animals. I offer an education, experience and a profession but easy going attitude.
