Hello! I am a credentialed elementary school teacher available for tutoring. I have a Master's Degree in Education and have worked as a classroom teacher for eight years. I am certified in Orton-Gillingham phonics, a teaching approach that supports struggling readers by using systematic, multi-sensory, and research-based practices to promote reading and writing growth. I have experience working with elementary students in grades kindergarten through fifth. My greatest strength as an educator is forming strong connections with students and personalizing learning to fit their strengths and needs, and I am most passionate about teaching young students to read and write!
