About Kristen

I am a childcare professional with 15+ years of experience as a nanny, Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool teacher, and registered behavioral technician. My work is rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, honoring children as capable, curious, and creative individuals, and centering learning through relationship, exploration, and play. Alongside early childhood education, I bring a rich arts background, having taught children in theater, dance, and gymnastics--encouraging confidence, embodiment, imagination, and joyful self-expression. I am now a Creative Wellness Coach for children, integrating arts-based practices, emotional awareness, and playful exploration to support each child's social, emotional, and creative development. I aim to create a calm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children feel safe to be themselves, discover their unique voice, and grow in confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence through creativity and connection.
