About Kristen

I am a 4th grade teacher now on summer break. I have experience teaching 4th and 5th grade general education, as well as special education. I am a 2014 graduate of Purdue University West Lafayette, where I earned a dual major in elementary education and special education. I was recognized and honored as the 2015 Outstanding Educator at my school by the Hammond Education Foundation. I am an enthusiastic, compassionate, reliable, and positive 24-year-old. My passion is working with children, of all ages and abilities! I believe in encouraging each child, building his/her confidence, and bringing out the potential inside of them. I have many years of babysitting experience, as well as past experience being a house hold light cleaner and dog sitter. I am an active person and love to be outdoors in the summer.
