About Kristen

I started working with kids when I became a lifeguard and water safety instructor at 15. From the ages of 15 to 19 I was in charge of teaching swim lesson for groups of up to 15 kids. The youngest kid I have taught was 3 years old and the oldest kid was 17. I also have experience with mommy and me swim lessons with infants and toddlers where the parent was present. Additionally I worked as a Girl Scout camp counselor during the summer 2 years as well as volunteered running a Girl Scout troop during the school year for 3 years with children in second and third grade. In my free time I enjoy reading, completing home renovation projects and working on cars. I grew up speaking French from a young age so I can converse in French as well as English. I went to college for acting school for 2 years but unfortunately had to leave the program at the beginning of COVID. During my time in acting school, I worked many family events including puppet shows and performing in child friendly theatre.
