Hi! I'm Kristen. I'm a National Board certified teacher with my Masters Degree. I graduated May of 2020 with my Master's in Special Education, specializing in intensive behavior and mental health. I am currently a special education teacher and work with students in kindergarten through 5th grade. I was previously a classroom teacher and taught 3rd and 5th grade. I now specialize in small group instruction to help fill any reading, math, behavior and/or social emotional gaps children may have within the classroom! I am passionate about helping children grow and feel successful. I was voted teacher of the year in 2020 which was a huge honor! I am Orton Gillingham (OG) trained and trained in ABA (applied behavior analysis). I have many research-based curriculums I use every day (including OG and SPIRE) and see great success with.
