About Kristen

I ran an in-home daycare for years and taught shapes, colors, letters, numbers, sounds, site words, and early math skills. I also worked in District 204 in a multi-needs classroom and gained hands-on experience with children with a variety of special needs and behavior challenges. I am fully trained in using Augmentative and Communication Devices, visual aids, First/Then statements, and the ABA approach style of completing tasks. I am comfortable with sensory input methods to provide calming mechanisms. I run District 204s annual Special Survivor Games. I currently Work in Community high school district 99 in the district office.
