About Kristen

Working with kids is my passion. I have my associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently working on my bachelor's degree, which will allow me to teach preschool through fifth grade! I'm looking for a job that allows me to utilize my skills to help each child grow academically, socially, and emotionally! I started working with kids when I graduated high-school. I worked in a daycare for two years. I am currently an education major where I get the opportunity to student teach in multiple grades along side mentor teachers and college professors. One thing you should know about me is I love working with children! I value the importance of giving children a warm and welcoming environment! I love to create hands-on activities for kids! During my time as a daycare teacher I created many opportunities for crafts, messy play, outdoor play, learning games, and sensory activities for infants to 12 years old! I have been described as hard working, caring, and fun!
