I began babysitting two young children at the age of 13 and continued to care for children into my twenties. One of my clients had four children. I volunteered for years in the church nursery as well as taught Sunday school. Then, at the age of 28, I became a mom and now have three children. I have been homeschooling them for almost 11 years. I have been working with care. com for almost 3 years and have served multiple families. So, I have lots of experience with children! I am also CPR, AED and First Aid certified.

In a pinch when we were looking for someone who could watch two toddlers for a bunch of hours, Kristen came to our rescue.   She was willing to drive the extra mile and meet us at the location, and she watched both kids while we attended the family event.   Kids had a great time with her and parents could enjoy few hours of family event.   She is very easy to talk to, was flexible, friendly and great with kids!  Recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone

Kristen was our summer Nanny for our daughter who just turned two. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her-she is kind, patient, communicative, and punctual. Even when my daughter would have a tantrum, Kristen remained calm and handled it like a pro. Kristen kept my daughter busy with daily visits to the library and playing/reading at home. My daughter adores her, and does her happy dance every morning when she sees her. I would rehire her/recommend her to anyone without hesitation! 

After an initial home visit, meeting my two preschool-aged children, and being fully informed, Kristen agreed to multiple childcare dates. However, she canceled all the bookings a few days before, citing concerns that my home didn't have a swing-set in the yard, despite a large playground with swings being within walking distance. At the same time, she insisted that childcare take place at her home instead of mine, which I wasn't comfortable with since my children would be in an unfamiliar setting with someone I'd just met. I would have appreciated her raising her concerns upfront rather than canceling last-minute.

Our family had a great experience with Kristen! She recently cared for our 2 sons ages 1 & 3 for several hours at our home. She handled dinner and bedtime routines for both boys like a pro! She was patient with the kids and could interact with them on their level. She kept us informed throughout the night and was flexible with our return time. We felt our kids were in good hands with her and would absolutely hire her again and recommend her to other families. 

Kristen was wonderful! She arrived right on time with a basket full of fun for the kiddos. She seemed super confident in being able to handle 4 little kids, gave updates while we were out, and the kids said they had a great time with her! 

Kristen was absolutely fantastic when we recently needed her to look after our 9 month old son while we had to be at an appointment for a few hours. He took to her immediately and she made him feel very comfortable. And, this was our first experience having a non-family member watch him, so she was very good at keeping us updated throughout the day on how our son was doing.

She was also extremely flexible and communicative when we were trying to set up the times to meet. Overall a wonderful experience, and we would love to hire her again!

Kristen was absolutely exceptional while caring for my children during a relatively hectic wedding day. The schedule required multiple location changes, and she handled every transition with ease, flexibility, and professionalism. She was punctual, proactive, and seamlessly jumped in wherever needed.

Most importantly, Kristen was incredibly nurturing and attentive with my children, providing a calm and supportive presence throughout a busy and unpredictable day. Her ability to adapt while maintaining such a high level of care truly sets her apart.

She is an outstanding nanny, and I would highly recommend her without hesitation. I could not have attended the wedding without her onsite  help, attention, and flexibility!

We hired Kristen to look after our three daughters (ages 8, 6, and 4) during the weekdays last summer, and she was honestly wonderful. She’s incredibly reliable, organized, and just very thoughtful in how she approaches childcare.

What we appreciated most was how she balanced everything. She put together activities that were actually age-appropriate and kept the girls busy, but she was also smart about logistics—always keeping an eye on the weather, driving times, cost, and how much energy the kids had left. She followed the structure we asked for perfectly, making sure there was a good mix of learning and play.

Kristen was a great communicator  and  has a naturally positive attitude. Even on long days, she stayed calm, attentive, and really engaged with the kids. We were so happy with her work and would recommend her to any family in a heartbeat.

Kristen is an exceptional human and care taker. She’s got a natural talent for taking care of babies and children of all ages and it shows. Kristen has been a family nanny for my daughter Julia for a year, taking care of her every Friday and occasional date nights. She’s also taken care of our cat when we’ve got out of town. My daughter adores Kristen, it’s obvious she is well loved. We trust Kristen deeply and highly recommend her to anyone looking for childcare and/or pet care. 

Kristen has been such a wonderful help to our growing family!  We had a new baby in August, and we hired Kristen to spend 1:1 time with our very active four-year old.  She has developed such a sweet relationship with our son, and he really looks forward to spending time with her.  Kristen has also been very good with our newborn too!  She is a very kind person, flexible and willing to lend a helping hand.  We are very grateful to have her help!

Absolutely fantastic. She was great with our four children. Our kids loved being around Kristen. She was always on time and extremely reliable. 

Kristen took care of my pets (dog & ferret) for 8 days while I vacationed.  It was the first time I left my elderly, blind dog in another's care.  She is very skittish around strangers; Kristen’s kindness and patience won her over.  Kristen sent regular text updates to let me know how my fur babies were doing.   I came home to a clean house, two well-cared for pets and a week’s worth of mail stacked neatly on the kitchen table.  Kristen is the perfect pet sitter!   

Kristen babysat out toddler and we are thankful for her. She was very patient and nurturing and gave full time and attention to him. She is also punctual and kept us updated on the schedule beforehand. 

Kristen was great! My kids loved playing with her right away. She was even able to distract my 8-month-old old who rarely lets me out of her sight without her getting upset. She is awesome, I would recommend her for sure.

She was excellent and our kids love her! She was interactive with them and do many activities!
