My name is Kristen, I'm in my mid-30s, & a dog-mom! I have 8+ years of nannying experience for several different families, & with a wide range of ages from newborn to older elementary school age. I stepped away from nannying fall of 2023 to pursue my editing business. While I'm still editing, I've realized recently I miss working out of my home & I miss regularly working with kiddos. I'm looking for a part-time position (15-25 hours a week, but flexible with that), and depending on the amount of hours per week, my schedule is flexible in start/end times. My starting rate is $22/hour for one child. I have a degree (from WWU) in early childhood & special education, I have my own car, and I'm very comfortable with pets. I love child-led play, open-ended play to see their imagination grow, and being outside and the wide range of local park options! I'm happy to follow your lead in parenting, being kind but firm, and communicating the day-to-day with you in the way that's best for you.
