About Kristen
Hi I'm Kristen, I'm 30 years old and a new mom to a 3-month-old boy. I graduated a semester early from Lafayette High School in 2011. I took time away from school to get some real world experience working in retail and nannying, and traveled across the US and in Central America. I wanted to learn more about the Earth and nature and enjoyed my years at BCTC where I earned an Applied Associate in Environmental Science as well as an Associate in Science in 2020. I do not have specific experience with tutoring but have 10+ years of babysitting experience from ages 7 months to 12 years old and have helped with homework along the way. I believe my extensive time spent with children and my grades in school make me a suitable teacher for those looking for some extra help. Subjects I prefer to help with are English, Writing, Science, Computer Skills, and Introductory Spanish. If you think we would be a good fit, or have any other questions for me, please reach out!
