I took care of both of my grandmothers, one who needed a live-in companion and the other I was her primary caregiver for 3 years she suffered from dementia and needed lots of extra guidance and help, even in 24 hour care facility I went daily to help. Since then I have worked for several families long-term as a companion/caregiver for clients with Dementia/Alzheimer's with great success. Each family I have worked for has said I have become part of their family which means the world to me. I love to help with errands, doctors appointments, showering, cooking, cleaning, playing games, cards or just watching tv. I also enjoy, just spending time with people as a companion, just to be there with them or talk and listen to them if needed. Helping to keep my clients to stay active both with their mind and physically is very important whatever their needs. I am very patient and a great problem solver who is also very caring, and encouraging. I am flexible, honest, funny, loyal and committed.
