About Kristen

I'm a warm, attentive, and experienced caregiver with six years of professional childcare experience, caring for children from 10 weeks through elementary school age. I began at Child Roots in Portland, an arts- and science-based early childhood program for infants and toddlers that followed RIE principles. I've since worked in multiple long-term nanny positions, including two years with a 4- and 8-year-old and three years caring for an infant beginning at 10 weeks alongside a2-year-old. I'm experienced with feeding, naps, developmental play, outings, routines, and supporting children at different stages. I'm patient, dependable, and adaptable to each family's parenting style. I also enjoy helping with children's meals, light housekeeping, and activities. I'm CPR and First Aid trained and a strong swimmer. Most importantly, I take the trust of caring for someone's children seriously and strive to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
