Kristen was a nanny for our daughter for a year - from 6 months old to a bit over a year and a half. We can’t recommend her enough as a caretaker. As first time parents it's terrifying to trust someone else with your baby. Kristen quickly earned that trust and we are so thankful we found her. Her love and care for our daughter was apparent and our daughter loved her right back. Every morning when she arrived our daughter became excited and asked for "more Kristen" as she heard her coming in. They spent their day playing inside, reading books, "chatting", going to various parks, going to the zoo, and generally having a great time. When our daughter got cranky Kristen handled it with patience and the skill of someone who has been doing this for a long time. Kristen also takes her job seriously and is a professional. She is communicative, responsible, and thoughtful. She always showed up on time. She was clean and respectful of our house and things. Most importantly, it felt like we were a team in caring for our daughter. She asked us frequently about our care preferences and then followed them. If we asked, she would share her experience or thoughts on our daughter's next stage of development and what we could do to support her (whether it be reducing number of naps, teething, starting solids, etc). We'd compare notes on new skills or funny things our daughter had done. Simply put - if you're looking for one of the best nannies in San Diego, Kristen is that person! - Sarah and Jason
