Hi! I'm Krista! I am currently applying to medical school and am hoping to get accepted in June of 2023. In the mean time, I am offering childcare and tutoring services. I have a Psychology Bachelor's degree and am currently working in the ER as a technician and as a tutor for the MCAT. These jobs are both on an as needed basis, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I grew up the oldest daughter of five children, so I was my mom's first choice as babysitter. I frequently babysit around the Lafayette area. I have experience with newborns to teenagers (and love them all!) I pride myself in my ability to teach. I have the patience and empathy to sit with a student for hours making sure that they thoroughly understand the topic and can apply it without my help in the future. I was a perfectionist as a student, so I excelled in Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics, History, English, etc. I can tutor on an elementary level as well as college students.

Krista was a godsend for our family. Our little 17 month old baby had a near death experience and had heart surgery within the same month. Needless to say, we were not looking for just any nanny for our little miracle. As an ICU nurse, I had significant anxiety leaving my baby to return to work. From day 1 our son LOVED her. She made one of the most difficult situations for me so easy. She's energetic, creative, and loved bringing him to do fun activities. I honestly could not have asked for anything more. We are heartbroken that she has to relocate but she will always be apart of our family!
