About Krissii

I have been a teacher on and off for 9 years now. For most of my teaching years I was a lead teacher in preschool and gravitated towards toddlers due to them needing much empathy and patience in strengthening fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social and emotional skills, cognitive development and more that is crucial in creating a foundation for later development . I absolutely loved my students and watching my students grow with knowing they are loved and can do anything they put their mind to. I currently am a kindergarten teacher assistant and love my job but looking for something closer to home. In this position I have been able to pull from my knowledge of early education and help children who were both in preschool and not be able to strengthen letter recognition, phonics, be able to start reading by sounding out the words, counting forwards and backwards to start basic addition and subtraction and so much more. I hope to find a family that I can do the same for them.
