About Kris

I'd describe my personality as kind, creative, and compassionate. I like working with kids because their curiosity inspires me and brings me joy. Additionally, I have a lot of experience reaching and helping children with different abilities and backgrounds, including ADD and Autism. I'm looking for a job that gives me a sense of purpose in helping others, and provides a living wage. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I would often babysit for family and friends' families. I obtained my degree and elementary teaching certification in 2007 and taught pre-K-5 for 12 years ( Art, P. E, 3rd Grade) after I raised my three children. In my spare time, I like to camp, paint, practice photography, and spend time by and in the water. My top three child care skills are: Patience and Empathy Creativity and Play Planning Communication
