About Kourtney

READ FIRST: This summer I am offering VIRTUAL tutoring only. My son is 4 and he is out for the summer so I cannot do in person. I worked in the school system during covid so I am well prepared and capable of teaching virtually. My name is Kourtney, I am currently a certified 5th-8th grade math/social studies teacher. I worked in Dekalb County for 7 years before leaving. I did not like how political schools have become and how students are just being pushed along instead of being taught so I decided to leave and become a private tutor. In High School, I became a certified Tutor and used this knowledge to assist students while in college. I tutored in the math lab of my College, helping my peers with College Algebra and a few with Calculus. I love and have mastered the teaching of 6th and 7th grade math, but I have the ability to tutor High School students as well (mostly 9th grade math). I can tutor 6th 7th and 9th grade math.
