About Komal

Experience: 2 yrs

I have worked as a tutor for children with severe dyslexia, ADHD, and anxiety disorders. I have experience baby-sitting newborns and families with both cats and dogs. During my undergraduate years, I spent 3 years working with children populations, studying the development of mathematical reasoning. Here, I patiently and compassionately guided children through (very daunting) fMRI sessions. I also taught and created a short, engaging curriculum on understanding the brain. In my free time, I enjoy playing the harp and learning the piano. I am an avid reader and cinephile.
