About Kiyeeda

Hello ! I'm Kiyeeda, also known as Kay. I'm married & have a 4 yo son. I prefer to bring my son on assignments so that he can meet new friends in this area (if that is OK). I lived in Brazil for 7 months where I taught children English and in Cape Verde for 4 years where I taught jazz & hip hop dance class. I also opened a hostel in Cape Verde where I hosted backpackers & families from all over the world. I say all this to show you that I embrace different cultures/experiences & love kids ! I now live in Wellesley & even though the weather is frigid at times, I try stay busy w/activities. My husband is a painter for a company in Newton and enjoys teaching my son to surf and swim. He speaks 5 languages and has lived in Cape Verde, Italy, and Tahiti. We are big on encouraging children to dream & dream big. My household is smoke and pet free. The Charles River is my backyard so we enjoy walking through the forest trails and kayaking the river on a regular basis.
