About Kirsten

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, empathetic, kind- hearted, and personable. I like caring for children because I love being a positive role model for growing minds. Working with youth has been a passion of mine for years; creating connections with families and children is something that holds a very special place in my heart. I was a long-term patient at Children's Hospital where I spent several months working with a variety of caregivers that helped teach me what it takes to be an effective and supportive caregiver. My educational background in Human Development and Family Studies gave me to opportunity to expand on my knowledge of child development and how to best support children of all ages and abilities. As an aspiring Child Life Specialist, I value every job that gives me the opportunity to expand on my knowledge and experience working with children! I have been working at a Early Childhood Center for almost 3 years, and have been babysitting since I was 16!
