Hi there! My name is Kirsten and I am currently a special education teacher at an elementary in Stafford, VA. This is my 7th year teaching. I am one of five children with experience caring for my own siblings since the age of 12 as well as vast babysitting experience with neighbors and community members for families with up to five children. I am comfortable with children ages 3 months to 15 years old, helping with daily tasks or errands, entertainment, or homework and study help. I am first aid and CPR certified. I work with kiddos daily at school but also have a long history of nannying, tutoring, and sitting. I'm comfortable with driving locally. Since I am a teacher, I'm looking to work with families who need after-school or weekend help.

Kirsten is one of the most reliable and responsible individuals you will find. She worked for my department at College as a Resident Assistant and Graphic Artist for several years. She also served in several non-paying leadership roles. She is professional in all of her interactions regardless of age....I have seen her work with toddlers and elementary students through college students, college administrators, parents, etc. and she actively listens and responds in a non-judgmental manner. Kirsten also follows through on any commitments. As a parent of toddlers, I would not hesitate to have Kirsten care for my children.
