References available upon request. I'd describe my personality as kind, gentle, loving. I like caring for seniors because I believe they should be living life as they always have in terms of filling it with things they love and bring them joy, feeling seen and heard, feeling safe and respected. I'm looking for a job that allows me to offer my skills as a doula, home health aide and former artist manager to someone I can have a special connection with based on trust and care. I started caring for seniors when I was in high school at the nursing home. I then went on to have a career in another field only to come back to this calling I have. Four years ago I started caring for elders at end of life and now I am a doula, companion and home health aide with hospice. In my spare time, I like to be in nature. I enjoy aikido which helps with my energy. I enjoy cooking, reading, music and spending time with family and friends. My skills include compassion, empathy, presence.
