About Kira

I have been babysitting/nannying for 9 years and am passionate about creating safe spaces for children to grow and learn. I am the oldest of four siblings, the youngest being eight, so I've grown up trying to be a role model. Being a teacher has always been my dream job, and I'm a junior at WMU for special education! I have found that the best way to make an impact on kids lives is through relationships. I would describe myself as kind and respectable. My goal when watching children is to build a relationship on mutual trust and respect. I'm not a very stern person, but I try to reason with children and show them the same respect I expect from them. I've always loved watching kids, so I have a lot of experience with a lot of different families and am happy to provide references upon request! Although I'm a student, I have a somewhat flexible schedule that I am willing to work with! I also have my own transportation. Let me know if I sound like the right fit for your family!
