I'd describe my personality as caring, dedicated, and helpful. I desire to help others succeed! As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), I have over 24 years experience with children & adults in various settings. I'm comfortable with a wide-range of ages, ability levels, & cultural backgrounds. I love tutoring because I enjoy 1:1 and small-group settings. Tutoring allows me opportunity to apply my skills & help others achieve theirs! I find creative ways to help struggling learners until it "clicks". In my spare time I enjoy church, family & friends, outdoors, planning events & connecting people. I have always had a passion for children, languages, and teaching people of all ages! My parents are European, so I grew up in a multilingual home. I'm well-traveled, have lived & worked overseas, & love other cultures! My skills include working with adults & children in the areas of speech therapy, education, and English for multilingual learners.
