About Kim

I have various types of experience caring for children. I am currently studying Elementary Education and Psychology at Bridgewater State University, working towards my teaching certification for grades 1-6, with hopes of teaching grades 2-4. During the Fall 2018 semester, I will begin my pre-practicum education classes to learn how to teach, and I will be doing my student teaching in Spring 2019. While I am home in Yarmouth, Cape Cod, I work at the Station Avenue Summer Daycare between July and August, working 40hrs a week. I am also a substitute teacher at the Dennis-Yarmouth schools and have worked in grades K-5, as well as working as an assistant to special education students. I have experience babysitting children between 1-3 years old, but feel very comfortable working with older children older than that as well.
