About Kimi Rose

Using my 7 years of experience as a daycare and preschool teacher for a Montessori-based program and many college courses on Early Childhood Development, I built an 8 year career as a nanny and home manager for a family of 5 in Chicago. I believe that, as one who works with children, I should emulate patience and provide guidance, enthusiasm, and most of all love with a calm, welcoming demeanor. In my experience, these attributes have a high success in fostering a child's love for learning, independence, and creativity. A caretaker should be one that works with parents to provide for their child's needs, with open communication about goals, concerns, and milestones. I am also an advocate for early literacy and would be thrilled to provide interactive, daily plans that incorporate books, art, and music into your child's routine! I also love to support a family by facilitating a tidy and organized home and am happy to offer those services if communicated.
