About Kimi

I love kids! I have 4 of my own with our youngest coming to us through foster care. I've been a stay at home mom for more than 20 years. I have homeschooled my kids for a season. I have been a preschool teacher, 1st grade teacher and aide in special education classes. I love hands on learning, letting kids get messy while having fun and getting them outside. I'd love to be some family's Mary Poppins. I'd describe my personality as positive, peacemaker and warm. I like working with kids because kids are the best!!! They bring so much joy to the world. They are hilarious and precious. I'm looking for a job that allows me to support a family through my gifts. My hope is to help bring peace to another's home. In my spare time: I like to spend time with my family, read, hike, paint, pickleball, mentor young adults, write, declutter/tidy and be in nature. My skills include teaching kids to read, reading aloud to kids and helping them grow in emotional regulation.
