I have loved and taken care of children since I was a child myself. I started taking care of infants and toddlers at church when I was 11 and from there went on to take care of many children from infants to elementary aged children when I was a teenager. I have had the joy of being a mother and enjoyed every moment raising my own son. I am also a certified teacher with nine years of experience teaching art, math, ESL and Spanish. I love children and they connect with me, too. I am thankful for the joy they bring to this world and for opportunities to peer at the world through a child's eyes while teaching and caring for them. When I care for children, I use every teachable moment to answer questions, teach skills and help children explore their world. I don't believe in just "babysitting". In fact, there's very little sitting involved in child care. I love being actively engaged in play/learning activities with children. I would consider it a joy and a privilege to care for your precious little ones.

Kim took care of my young son on a reoccurring basis 2d/week from November 2014-June 2015. Sadly for me, our time together ended due to a move. He was 10 months when we started. I absolutely love her and so does my son. She is extremely professional and reliable and more importantly loved my son and cared for him like he was her own. She is a teacher and during his time with her he really developed a love of books. Another great thing about Kim is her healthy lifestyle--I had complete trust that he would eat well and get plenty of exercise (mental & physical!) during his time with her. I wish there more than five stars I could give, consider yourself very lucky if you are able to work with Kim!
