About Kimberly

I'd describe my personality as quiet, adaptive and nurturing. I like working with kids because it is fascinating to watch their personalities develop. I am Infant and Child CPR/First Aid certified. I started working with kids when I was in Junior High, helping in my church nursery. My first nanny experience was helping a family for 2 summers during college. They had infant twins, and then twins again 17 months later. This was a challenging, but fun experience! In my spare time, I like to crochet, bake, read, and play with my cats. Crochet projects sometimes come along for nap-time or bed-time busy-work. I have over 20 years of babysitting experience. Long enough that children I babysat while I was in high school are now bringing their own babes for me to care for. My skills include staying calm when children are melting down, helping children learn and grow through play, and reading stories to encourage language development.
