Hello! I have been working for over 14 years as an independent caregiver and enjoy every moment. I completely understand the needs of families with no adult children in the area to assist or who just need an extra pair of eyes and ears to help them navigate activities of daily living. I am fully vaccinated and have experience assisting loved ones under hospice care. Some services I provide are companionship, social interaction, transportation to grocery store, drug store, appointments, closet organization, medication management, meal preparation, pet sitting, light housekeeping, etc. I am experienced w caring for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's patients and find options to keep them socially active. I am flexible with what is asked of me, so please do not hesitate to inquire! I enjoy golfing, knitting, gardening, photography and all forms of exercise. I look forward to meeting with you and your loved one to begin a memorable working relationship .

When we looked for care for my 99 yo grandmother in hospice at my home, I knew we needed somebody special to fit the bill. I needed someone trusted, reliable, personable, flexible, and engaging to my grandmother. Being a bit of an introvert, but always willing to be hospitable, I knew of the surface, my grandmother would be easy to get along with – but I also knew there were a lot of feelings she would have about someone outside the family helping her with daily tasks of meal prep, dressing, etc., that she was so independently doing up until a few months before! Kim was the perfect person. Kim is all the baseline checklist items you look for in a care giver for a loved one. But for me, she was so much more as we navigated the last few months of my dear grandmother's life. And I say, dear, because you could tell, that Kim also found her to be dear and this came through in her care of my grandmother, but also of us as a family – me, as a single working mom, and my young son. She pitched in where we needed to – always offering and making sure we were ok too. We all knew my grandmother’s decline and eventual death would be the end of this “working” relationship, but I’m happy to say, our family found a friend even through what could have been a much more difficult time these last couple of months.
