About Kimberly

I will start off by saying that I love working with children in general! I have helped my parents care for my three younger siblings at the age of 13. I have worked at a child development and learning center, which was in a Christian church. I love and get along great with children. Honestly, I seem to have a real bond with children. I have experience with infants ages newborn-12 months and toddlers from ages 1 to 3, as well as children ages 4-11. But most of all being married and to help raise my step-daughter as my own for the past 3 years for her life but sad to say we do not see much of our daughter as we would both love to. As for the time we don't have her I would love to be able to care for your child and be the extra hand in life that most of the working parents seek out. Since being in my daughters life I have managed to teach her, her alphabet & numbers, shapes & colors by the age of three. She's now in a head start class and is excelling in her learning. So my caring for children doesn't just stop with the basic care but with the skill that are needed in life. I do not only like to work with children, but with people in general. Really, in my opinion, I think that having good communication skills with kids in general is as important as having good communication with parents. To conclude, you always have to have a positive attitude in order to have a positive experience. I am a very open-minded, down-to-earth person and I am willing to help in any way possible!
