About Kimberly

Hi, my name is Shelley. I love the outdoors, being active, and learning about the world around me. I am from Colorado and moved to California after I graduated college. I started working in childcare at a young age. I worked as a Lifeguard in high school and college where I also taught swim lessons. From there, I went on to work at the Children's Center at the University Recreation Center where I eventually became a Supervisor. I worked with kids 6 months to 9 years old. Outside of the children's center, I also had the opportunity to work with a variety of families in part-time and full-time babysitting positions. After college, I began working for Walker Creek Ranch an Outdoor Education School in Petaluma, CA. I enjoyed teaching 5th and 6th graders about nature as well as working for the ranch conference and retreat center on the weekends and in the summer.
