About Kimberly

I am a registered nurse who has home-schooled my three children from K through 8th grade. I have experience teaching children with dyslexia, and have a passion for identifying learning styles in children and helping them to foster a love of learning. I have experience using multiple curriculum including the K12 curriculum, ABEKA, Before Five in a Row, Five in a Row, and IEW (Institutes for Excellence in Writing) as well as classic literature curriculum. I also have over 15 years experience in homeschooling, setting up a homeschooling environment, and setting up daily schedules to incorporate learning. I am willing to meet with you if you are new to schooling your child at home and want assistance in getting started or selecting curriculum.
