I got certified as a nursing assistant when I was only 16 years old and have been doing it ever since. I so far have has 3 long term patients, whom I have been with more than 2 years. I love my job. I understand it can sometimes get hard and don't take it personal when the patient get upset. I think the biggest thing for me is respecting the patients wishes but also encouraging them to be the best version of themselves. I am very open minded and try to make myself as available as I can. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to my schedule. Although, I like to have my days set in advance so I can plan. I like to make people smile and laugh. I have recommendations for current/previous employers if any one needs them!
