About Kimberly

I am a caregiver, early childhood educator, and homeschooling mama to a 4. 5-year-old seeking a part-time childcare opportunity in the New Haven, Woodbridge or Hamden area. I hold a Masters in Education and bring 25 year of caregiving and early learning experience with infants and children ages birth to 12. I specialize in collaborative and non-coercive care rooted in the belief that all children are worthy of dignity, trust, and autonomy. While my primary jobs are running a local children's non-profit and being a mama of one, I am offering part-time individual and small group childcare (up to 3 children) year-round. Together, we will explore parks, tend a community garden plot, play collaborative games, visit libraries and museums, create stories of our own and practice process art in various fun and messy mediums. I'm excited to connect with one or two local families seeking more than just a babysitter, but a caregiver and educator passionate about children's rights.
